Knott fence (knotted field fence) uses fixed knots at every wire intersection so the mesh holds its shape under animal pressure and uneven ground. It is the standard choice for large agricultural boundaries, plantations, orchards and grazing land where a rigid panel fence would be uneconomical. Navkar Fence supplies knotted fencing in heights from 4FT to 8FT, with graduated vertical spacing that is tighter at the bottom to stop smaller animals.

Where it is used
Knott Fence applications
Knott (fixed-knot) fence is built for large open land — farms, orchards, plantations, dairy and cattle enclosures, poultry ranges, wildlife and forest boundaries, and grazing land.
Because the knot allows the fabric to flex without unravelling, it is also used along canal banks, hilly and undulating terrain, and long rural boundaries where rigid panels are impractical.

The fixed knot grips the vertical and horizontal wires without cutting into them, so the mesh absorbs animal impact and ground movement and springs back instead of deforming permanently.
Graduated mesh openings — tighter at the bottom, wider at the top — hold small animals in and larger animals out while using less wire. Heavily galvanised wire keeps the fence serviceable in open field conditions for years, and long rolls mean fewer joints per kilometre.
