Grassland Fence
Grassland field fencing with 100MM and 125MM vertical spacing in multiple horizontal pitches for farmland, grazing and boundary demarcation.
Grassland fencing is a woven field fence designed for long agricultural boundaries. The graduated horizontal spacing keeps openings small near the ground, where small animals push through, and wider at the top where less containment is needed. Navkar Fence supplies grassland fence in 100MM and 125MM vertical spacings with horizontal pitches of 100MM, 125MM, 150MM and 175MM.
- Vertical spacing options of 100MM and 125MM
- Horizontal pitch options of 100MM to 175MM
- Graduated openings for effective animal control
- Economical for very long farm boundaries
- Flexes over uneven and sloping land
- Galvanised wire for outdoor life
Where it is used
Grassland Fence applications
Grassland fencing is the standard field fence for agriculture and animal husbandry — crop land, orchards, nurseries, dairy and goat farms, poultry ranges, grazing land and plantation boundaries.
It is also used for forest and wildlife boundaries, canal and highway edge fencing, solar farm perimeters and any long rural boundary where a hinged-joint field fence is preferred over chain link.
Benefits & features of Grassland Fence
The hinged joint lets the fence flex on impact and on uneven ground, then return to shape, so a single line of fence survives cattle pressure and slope changes without slack.
Vertical spacing is graduated to suit the stock being contained, heavy galvanising resists field weather, and long rolls cover ground fast with fewer posts and joints, keeping installed cost per running foot low.

Technical information
Configurations combine a vertical spacing (100MM or 125MM) with a horizontal pitch (100MM, 125MM, 150MM or 175MM). Roll height, roll length and wire gauge vary by configuration and should be confirmed at the time of order.
Custom heights, spacings, wire gauges and roll lengths can be produced for specific land parcels.
